Session Information
Custom Portrait Session:
Photo sessions last between 1-2 hours. They are done on location in the comfort of your home or another special place of interest. Newborn sessions may take longer and are never rushed. It is best to try to schedule your session for the time of day your child usually feels best and most comfortable. We want the session to be enjoyable for everyone. If your child is enjoying the session, we will capture the best expressions and the true personality will be reflected in the portraits.
*To capture the true newborn look, photos should be taken before baby is 3 weeks old.
A session fee of $125 covers the photographer's time, talent, travel, and artful proofing and processing of your images. All photos are sold separately... choice of Color - Black & White - Sepia prints. The portrait creations are for up to 5 individuals...please add $25 for each additional person.
A deposit of $50 is non-refundable and will hold your custom photo sessions time and date. If you need to reschedule, we ask that you kindly give at least 24 hours notice. You may apply the deposit for a future appointment up to 3 times.
Clothing Options:
Simple is best when trying to decide on what to wear...solid colors, jeans, or Khakis work well. Also layering clothing adds texture and interest. For family shoots I will consult you with a follow up letter explaining how colors and patterns work best together. Little girls look absolutely adorable in sundresses. Add bare feet, a hat, scarf or colorful stockings for a fun approach. Allow me to help any way that I can with suggestions during our pre-session consultation. Please feel free to also bring a change of clothes.
